Piaggio Vehicles Conversions and Bodies
Piaggio Vehicles - Conversions and Bodies
SIMED s.r.o. distributes Piaggio vehicles that represent a low-cost 4WD alternative. After the conversion, i.e. fitting a vehicle with hydraulic drives, mounting plate for carrying front-mounted accessories, the vehicle becomes a universal help, which can be of use in various municipal services, cleaning etc.
Mounting device with a light bar
To enable easy attaching/detaching front-mounted accessories on the vehicle, it is necessary to fit it with a front mounting device. Apart from easy and quick coupling, the mounting device also lifts the superstructure to the transport position (where it is mechanically secured) and lowers the superstructure to the working position. The mounting device is fitted with high-beam, dipped-beam and indicator lights.
PIAGGIO Porter "V1" hydraulic circuits
The front superstructure control circuit allows for lowering and
lifting the front-mounted device and adhering to the surface. Another
functionality of this circuit is turning the superstructure into the
working position. Hydraulic quick couplings for connecting a
front-mounted device are located in the front bumper area.
This
circuit is connected to the existing electro-hydraulic system of a
vehicle.
Its functionalities are controlled using an electric
switchboard located in the vehicle's cab.
The circuit is secured
against overloading.
PIAGGIO Porter "V3" hydraulic circuits
The hydraulic circuits comprise of two independent circuits.
The
hydraulic circuit for driving rotating devices is composed of a
hydroelectric generator driven by the vehicle's engine using an
electromagnetic clutch. The vehicle is fitted with a 30 litres
hydraulic tank with oil filtration. Rotating devices drive circuit -
approx. 25 litres per minute, 16MPa. On/Off switch of the rotating
device is located in the vehicle's cab. If the vehicle's engine speed
falls below a set limit, the circuit will automatically turn off.
Hydraulic quick couplings for connecting a rear-mounted device are
located in the rear part of the vehicle; couplings for connecting a
front rotating device in the front bumper area.
The circuit is
secured against overloading.
